WEST WOOD: REMAKE places up to 12 players in an isolated Alberta town and gives the group three official priorities: Gather, Run, Outsmart. A successful first session is not about memorizing every original-game house number. It is about learning the current HUD, using daylight to collect supplies and landmarks, keeping enough carry capacity for the objective, and reaching night with a route back to shelter.

This hub organizes the three guides that answer the most important starting questions. The Beginner Guide covers the first safe loop. The Full Walkthrough turns the current beta session into ordered phases without claiming undocumented win conditions. Original vs Remake explains which old assumptions must be rechecked because the Remake has a different Place, Universe, player limit, badges, and progression surface.

Quick start: join Place 109129552698918, identify the health/stamina/hunger/thirst HUD, keep the group together while learning one return route, collect only what fits the visible weight limit, and move into shelter before attempting an unfamiliar night objective.

Understand the current survival screen

A current Remake walkthrough visibly shows separate health, stamina, hunger, and thirst bars. Treat all four as route constraints. Health tells you how much immediate harm you can absorb. Stamina is your escape reserve. Hunger and thirst can turn a safe hiding plan into a forced supply run if ignored. The public sources do not give exact drain rates, so use the bars themselves rather than an old timer.

The same footage shows a logbook and inventory with a visible weight limit, plus sections for food recipes, achievements, and books. Weight makes every pickup a decision. A full bag can prevent you from carrying an objective crate or a more valuable survival item later. Before leaving a building, open the inventory, remove obvious duplicates if the game permits, and keep one slot or enough weight available for an unexpected task.

The hotbar in the current session visibly includes practical supplies such as a flashlight, a medical item, a camera, food, drink, and a hand tool at different moments. This is not a complete item list and does not prove fixed spawn locations. It does show why the group should divide functions: one player can carry recovery supplies, another can keep a light or camera ready, and an objective carrier can preserve capacity.

Use daylight for information, not random distance

Begin by choosing a recognizable home or building as the group’s reference point. Note its exterior shape, nearby road, porch or doorway, and the direction of the general store if you find it. Move through adjacent structures in a loop that returns to the same reference. A long straight sprint through fog produces more distance but less reusable map knowledge.

Inside a house, identify exits before opening every container. The walkthrough shows interiors with front and back routes and, in at least one building, an EventSystem camera interface for the living room, stairs, front door, and back door. Cameras can provide information without stepping outside, but their presence and controls may vary. If you find the interface, learn which view corresponds to each exit while conditions are calm.

Keep stamina for the return leg. Running everywhere during preparation can leave the bar depleted when a threat appears or the group needs to reposition. Walk when the route is safe, sprint to solve a real time or danger problem, and stop adding loot once hunger, thirst, carry weight, or distance makes the return fragile.

Prepare the group before night

Agree on a shelter and a fallback before the environment becomes difficult to read. Every player should know the primary entrance, another exit if one exists, and the shortest route from the last looting area. Do not rely on “follow me” as the only plan; fog, walls, chat delay, and panic can split a group within seconds.

Assign simple roles rather than rigid classes. A route lead remembers the return turns. A supply lead watches food, drink, medical items, and available weight. A lookout uses sight lines or cameras where available. An objective carrier keeps capacity for a crate or required object. Players can swap roles after a death or item change, but everyone should know who holds the essential object.

Before night, check the four HUD bars, inventory weight, hotbar, and route. Eat or drink only when doing so improves the planned survival window; the current public evidence does not establish ideal percentages or item values. Keep a recovery option accessible instead of buried behind several inventory actions.

Survive by reading and repositioning

The Beast is a confirmed threat: official badges exist for dying to it and for using the flamethrower against it. A current walkthrough also visibly shows a close Beast encounter. The official materials do not publish its sensing formula, speed, pathing, or guaranteed counters. Your first goal is therefore to preserve information and an exit, not test a dramatic confrontation with the whole team trapped behind you.

Listen and watch from cover, keep the route around teammates clear, and avoid clustering in the exact doorway everyone may need. If the threat enters the route, call the direction and the intended fallback in plain language. Save sprint for the moment movement creates separation. The Beast Guide covers threat-specific decisions without inventing a stun duration or safe-house guarantee.

Risk is also an official progression concept, with badges at 50 and 100. Its sources, rate, and effects are not publicly documented. If the visible value rises, tell the team and treat the change as a reason to shorten optional exposure. Do not assume reaching a badge threshold makes the situation safe or produces a reward beyond the badge itself.

Turn one run into progress

The official badge set gives a useful objective ladder. Reputation achievements appear at 5, 10, 20, and 30. Separate badges recognize opening the general store, buying an item, buying a medallion, surviving each named season without dying, surviving all seasons in a row, delivering a lost crate at night, and delivering a blackstone crate at night. These are real goals even though the API does not explain their economy or exact routes.

Choose one goal that fits the current group rather than attempting every badge at once. New players should first learn the HUD and a shelter loop. A coordinated group can then attempt the store or an ordinary night delivery. Long no-death season goals are better saved until the group can manage supplies and movement consistently. Reputation is a longer track, so measure visible progress instead of guessing the fastest source.

After the run, check which badge or reputation change actually appeared. If an expected result is missing, note the server time, objective, and whether every step occurred at night or in the required order. Beta bugs and incomplete triggers are possible, but a missed condition can look identical from the outside.

Guide evidence and version boundary

Official facts come from the Roblox experience, Games API, place-to-universe endpoint, and badge API checked August 27, 2026 UTC. Route context comes from TheKacperosEN’s August 22 current Remake walkthrough. The video is a useful demonstration, not an official specification, and this hub does not copy its chat, captions, or sequence as a guaranteed solution.

Exact controls, item values, season length, risk formula, reputation gains, crate spawns, store requirements, Beast AI, medallion effects, and death/reset rules still require current in-game testing. When a page discusses one of those areas, it tells you what to observe and how to make a safe decision without filling the gap with an original-game rule.
