WEST WOOD: REMAKE Shop Progression

Progress through opening the general store, buying an item, and buying a medallion while keeping WEST WOOD: REMAKE economy claims verified.

The official WEST WOOD: REMAKE badges confirm three shop milestones: open the general store, buy an item from the shop, and buy a medallion from the shop. They do not publish the opening requirement, currency, prices, inventory, restock rule, or whether the general store and every shop interaction are one system.

Treat the visit as three checks. Reach the current building, satisfy the live opening prompt, inspect the shop before spending, then verify each badge separately.

Prepare before visiting the store

Learn the route in daylight and identify the building from current landmarks. The General Store Location page handles navigation. Keep a shelter and return path in mind because the store can also be relevant to night deliveries.

Carry only what supports the trip. Preserve inventory capacity for a purchase and keep food, drink, light, and recovery accessible. Do not arrive with empty stamina or a full weight limit merely to test a door.

Check current reputation, badges, and any visible currency or requirement. Record them before the interaction so a later change can be attributed to the visit.

Open the general store

Approach the current entrance and read the live prompt. The “Let’s Go Thrift Shopping” badge proves the store can be opened; it does not establish a universal key location, time requirement, or group-wide unlock.

If the door does not open, inspect the prompt and surrounding current-version clues. Do not follow an original West Wood key route unless the Remake itself points to the same location. Check whether another player already changed the door state or whether the server needs a fresh interaction.

After opening, wait for the badge and check your profile. Record whether each nearby teammate received it or only the interacting player. That distinction still needs in-game testing.

Inspect before buying

Read the item name, displayed effect, price, currency, inventory impact, and any requirement. If a field is absent, do not fill it from an old guide. Beta inventories and values can change without itemized patch notes.

Choose an ordinary purchase only when you understand what will be consumed. The “At Least It’s Not Behind a 7/11” badge requires buying an item from the shop. It does not say the cheapest item, first item, or any particular category qualifies differently.

Keep enough resources for survival and the return route. A badge is not worth leaving the group without food, drink, recovery, or a required delivery item.

Buy a medallion as a separate milestone

“Soulful Power” explicitly requires buying a medallion from the shop. A medallion purchase should be verified separately from the general item purchase. Read the current medallion description and confirm whether it is carried, equipped, activated, or otherwise handled by the current interface.

Do not choose by an old tier list. The official badge confirms that medallions exist and can be purchased, not their names, effects, prices, permanence, or loss rules. The Medallions guide explains how to compare current choices.

After purchase, check the inventory and badge. Record whether the purchase changed weight, available slot, reputation, or another visible value, but do not claim causation from one overlapping event.

Connect the store to night deliveries

A current Remake walkthrough visibly shows a note directing a carried object to the back of the general store. Official badges separately confirm delivering lost and blackstone crates during the night. This makes the rear store area an important objective destination in the recorded beta session.

Walk the rear approach during safe conditions before carrying a crate. Identify the final interaction area and a route back to shelter. Keep purchase and delivery goals separate: browsing the shop with an objective in hand can expose the carrier and confuse which interaction completed.

Use Night Deliveries for the objective condition and Night Delivery Route for the travel method.

Shop progression order

First learn the location and opening interaction. Second complete one ordinary item purchase you can afford and understand. Third review medallion choices and complete that separate purchase. Fourth practice the rear route before attempting a night delivery.

This order reduces uncertainty. If a badge fails, only one new condition changed. It also prevents a new player from spending everything on a medallion before learning basic survival costs.

For a group, decide who interacts and who holds shared supplies. If purchases are individual, each player may need a separate transaction; do not assume one opening or payment awards the whole server.

Troubleshoot the store

If the building cannot be found, return to a shared landmark and use the map method rather than wandering through fog. If the door prompt fails, confirm the current requirement and server state. If a purchase does not complete, check displayed balance, inventory capacity, and whether confirmation is required.

If the item appears but the badge does not, verify the badge condition and wait for Roblox. If the badge appears but the item does not, capture the transaction state before attempting another purchase. A duplicate transaction can consume more resources without resolving the issue.

Rejoin a fresh server only after recording the current state. Beta bugs are possible, but a clear report needs the exact item, time, location, and visible result.

Shop FAQ

What currency does the shop use?

No current first-party public source checked here specifies the currency. Read the live interface.

How do I unlock the general store?

The opening badge is official, but its prerequisite is not public. Follow current in-game clues rather than an original-game key location.

What is the best medallion?

No verified current list of names, effects, and prices is available. Compare the live descriptions against your survival goal.

Evidence note

Store-opening and purchase conditions are Official through the badge API. The rear-store delivery instruction is Community reported from a current walkthrough reviewed August 27, 2026. Requirements, economy, stock, effects, and shared progress remain Needs in-game testing.
